Dr. Marcus Iwane (Chief, West Oahu Medical Office at Kapolei) gave our audience members a sneak peak inside this new $60 million facility, which incorporates state-of-the-art Kaiser Permanente NextGen technology and design enhancements to improve the care experience. In addition, Dr. Iwane highlighted Kaiser Permanente’s vision for kīpukaoha – an initiative to improve health equity in West Oahu through community engagement and partnerships. Dr. Iwane also discussed Kaiser Permanente’s approach to COVID-19 testing, care, and vaccination for West Oahu.
