Tour de Trash – Recyclers and Waste Processors 2025 is a go! Join us for an educational tour that will introduce you to the city’s solid waste program which saves valuable landfill space. Registration is now open to the general public, ages 12 and up. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Reserve your spot today through our website www.honolulu.gov.opala or call our Recycling Branch at (808)768-3200, ext. 7. Deadline to reserve is Friday, February 14, 2025. Reservations are not confirmed until a confirmation email is sent.

Please keep in mind, this tour is designed to give participants a behind-the-scenes look at Oahu’s solid waste management facilities. Some of these sites may require climbing several flights of stairs, walking through narrow corridors, standing for extended periods, and may be hot, dusty, or dirty. Please make sure that you are aware of the physical activity expected for the tour!
