Emari Hunn is a seasoned leader, community advocate, and Senior Vice President at First Foundation Bank in Honolulu. With 26 years of leadership experience, including 15 years in banking management, she is passionate about financial literacy, professional development, and community empowerment.

Born in Japan and raised in Hawaii, Emari earned her degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her career spans banking, retail leadership, and nonprofit service, shaped by her experiences as a military spouse. She is known for organizing impactful events such as the Waikele Job & Business Development Fair, connecting individuals with career and business opportunities to strengthen the local economy.

As Co-Director of Inspire Collective, Emari plays a key role in coordinating major events that bring together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and innovators. Through these gatherings, she helps provide valuable connections, mentorship, and resources that foster professional and personal growth.

Beyond her banking career, Emari has dedicated years to children’s ministry and leads the Kids Leadership Program at Inspire Church, helping young leaders grow. As the 2024-2026 President of Soroptimist International of Honolulu, she actively supports initiatives that uplift women and girls. She also serves on the board of Mālama O Nā Keiki, providing essential resources for NICU babies and their families.

Her volunteerism with organizations like Building Blocks Hawaii, Habilitat, and Junior Achievement has earned her multiple accolades, including the prestigious Presidential Volunteer Service Award four times, most recently in 2023. She has also received various industry and nonprofit awards for her leadership and community impact.

Through her professional and volunteer efforts, Emari continues to inspire, connect, and create meaningful opportunities for individuals and businesses, embodying the true spirit of aloha.
